A renewed mind must be guided by discernment. Without it, clarity can still drift, and intention can still misalign. Discernment is not instinct alone. It is learned trust. It is choosing God’s direction over personal logic, even when understanding feels incomplete.
Discernment slows you down enough to recognize when something is good, but not God led. It protects you from repeating patterns simply because they are familiar. As you enter a new year, discernment becomes the filter for what you allow to stay, what you allow to grow, and what you gently leave behind.
When you trust God fully, direction follows. Not always immediately, not always clearly at first, but faithfully. Carrying discernment into the new year means you are no longer led by impulse or fear, but by trust and alignment.
