Wells of Salvation, Part 2; The Flame of Courage

Wells of Salvation, Part 2; The Flame of Courage

Key Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:7

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

2 Timothy 1:7 (ERV)

The Spirit that God gave us does not make us afraid. His Spirit fills us with power, love, and self-control.

Reflection

Hey Gems & Jewels;

When we face unexpected challenges or daunting obstacles, fear can easily make us want to shrink back and quiet our voice. However, igniting the bold passion and courage placed within us by God, empowers us to stand firm and lead with conviction. When intimidation or self-doubt creeps in, it is so easy to play small.

You might look at a new opportunity, face a difficult conversation, or handle an intense workload, and feel like you lack the strength to step forward. Fear loves to convince us that we are helpless, unprepared, and destined to fail. But the Holy Word explicitly exposes fear as an unwanted intruder. The scripture declares that fear does not come from God. Instead, the Holy Spirit inside you endows you with divine power, supernatural love, and a disciplined, clear mind.

Drawing from the wells of salvation means activating the bold spirit God has placed within your heart. You are called to be a leader in your home, your business, and your community. Royal courage is not the total absence of fear, it is the choice to move forward boldly because you know the King is backing you up. When pressure rises, do not shrink back or compromise your values. Stand up straight, take authority over anxiety, and let the fire of holy boldness shine through every single thing you do.

Life Skill Tip

The next time fear or hesitation hesitates your steps, place your hand over your heart, take three deep breaths, and declare out loud that God has filled you with power, love, and a sound mind.

Declarations

I do not operate in a spirit of fear, timidity, or self-doubt.

God has filled my spirit with divine power, selfless love, and absolute self-control.

I lead boldly in every environment because my confidence is anchored in Christ.

My mind is calm, clear, and disciplined through the power of the Holy Spirit.

What is a Declaration

A declaration is a formal and confident statement of spiritual truth intended to align your spoken words with God’s promises, shifting your mindset and environment.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. Forgive me for the times I have allowed fear or timidity to silence my voice or stop my progress. Today, I stir up the flame of courage within my heart. Clear my mind of all anxiety, strengthen my hands for the work before me, and help me walk with holy confidence in every space I enter. In Jesus' name, Amen.
