Key Scriptures: Matthew 18:32-33
Matthew 18:32-33 (KJV) Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
Matthew 18:32-33 (NIV) Then the master called the servant in. “You wicked servant,” he said, “I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?”
Matthew 18:32-33 (ERV) Then the master called the servant in and said, “You evil servant. You begged me to forget your debt, and I said you did not have to pay it. So you should have shown the same mercy to that other servant that I showed to you.”

Reflection
This parable brings us face to face with a sobering reality: God expects us to be mirrors of His character. The Master’s anger wasn't rooted in the servant’s original debt, but in his refusal to duplicate the mercy he had just experienced. Grace is an investment Heaven makes in us, and the "interest" God looks for is how we treat the people around us.
Forgiveness is a gift that carries a Kingdom responsibility. While grace is freely given, it is never intended to be stagnant; it must move through us to reach others, or we risk losing the peace that mercy provides. Accountability is not about earning our salvation; it is about honoring the Price that was paid for it.
When we choose to hold a grudge, we are essentially telling the Father that His sacrifice wasn't enough to cover the offenses of others. To walk in full Kingdom authority, we must be willing to release the "hundred pence" offenses so that we can remain in the flow of the "ten thousand talents" of grace.

Life Skill Tip
Use the Grace Audit at the end of each day. Ask yourself: "Did I demand more from someone else today than God demanded from me?" If you find a moment where you were harsh or unforgiving, go back and correct it immediately. Keeping short accounts with others keeps your own heart open to God’s forgiveness, grace, mercy, and peace.
Declarations
I am an ambassador of the Master’s mercy.
I will not block the grace of God by holding on to bitterness.
My life reflects the compassion and patience I have received from God.
What is a Declaration
A declaration is a formal and confident statement of spiritual truth intended to align your spoken words with God’s promises, shifting your mindset and environment.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for showering me with Your grace. Help me to remember that I am never more like You than when I am showing mercy. Soften my heart toward those who have failed me, and let the love You have poured into me overflow into their lives. May I always be found faithful with the treasure of Your forgiveness. In Jesus name. Amen.
Today’s Jewel: Sapphire
What it represents: Sapphire represents divine favor, truth, and the solid foundation of God’s throne.
How it fits the message: As one of the foundation stones of the New Jerusalem and a gem on the High Priest’s breastplate, the Sapphire reminds us that God’s Kingdom is built on the firm foundation of truth. The truth is that we have been forgiven to forgive. Just as a Sapphire reflects a deep, heavenly blue, our lives should reflect the heavenly standard of mercy and accountability.
Question
Is there a "debt" someone owes you that you have been holding onto as a weapon? How can you turn that weapon into a witness of God’s grace today?
