Before we can ever walk in true obedience, fully experience God's divine protection, or step into the overflow of His promises, we must first learn to recognize the sound of His voice. His voice is not always loud or dramatic it often comes as a gentle whisper, it can be quiet heard and felt deep within the soul. Like a shepherd who calls each sheep by name, God speaks personally and purposefully to those who have positioned themselves to listen. "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me"(John 10:27). Learning to discern His voice requires stillness, surrender, and a heart that has been softened by time spent in His Word.
When we commit ourselves to truly hearing God, everything changes. Obedience becomes less of a burden and more of a joyful response to love. His protection becomes the natural covering over a life surrendered to His leading. And His promises, every one of them, begin to unfold in ways that exceed what we could have imagined on our own. (Isaiah 30:21). Trust His voice today, and let it lead you into every good thing He has prepared for you.
