Reflection

Hey Gems & Jewels;

In this parable, Jesus introduces us to a widow who is seeking justice. In that society, a widow was often seen as someone without a voice, without resources, and without a protector. She was "small" in the eyes of the world. On the other side was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about people. It looked like an impossible match.

However, the widow had one thing that the judge couldn't ignore: persistence. She didn't have a lawyer or a bribe; she just had her presence and her plea. Jesus uses this story to teach us that the secret to spiritual breakthrough is to "always pray and not faint." Fainting is what happens when we let our current circumstances tell us that our prayers aren't working. Persistence is the refusal to accept "no" when God has already promised "yes."

Your small voice becomes a mighty roar when you refuse to quit. Your position in life does not determine your power in the Kingdom. Even when you feel like the underdog, your persistence is a spiritual force that can break through any barrier.

Life Skill Tip

Practice The 24 Hour Rule. When you feel like giving up on a goal or a prayer because you haven’t seen progress, give yourself 24 hours before making any decisions. Use that time to reconnect with your "Why." Most people quit right before the breakthrough; persistence is simply the decision to stay in the game for one more day.

Declarations

I am persistent in my prayers and my purpose.
I refuse to faint in the face of delay.
My voice has power in the Kingdom of Heaven.
I am anchored in the promises of God.

What is a Declaration

A declaration is a formal and confident statement of spiritual truth intended to align your spoken words with God’s promises, shifting your mindset and environment.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank You that You are a God of justice. Forgive me for the times I have fainted because I didn't see an immediate answer. Strengthen my heart today to keep knocking, keep asking, and keep seeking. I believe that my persistence is honoring You and that You are working on my behalf even now. In Jesus name. Amen.
