Reflection

Hey Gems & Jewels;

Today we are looking at the "Who" and the "When" of the Kingdom sorting. Jesus tells us that at the end of the age, the angels will come forth to "sever" or separate the wicked from the just. When we look at the divine reality of how this separation takes place. It is a powerful reminder that God is the ultimate judge, and He has a specific design for how His Kingdom is finalized.

This is a divine appointment that we cannot avoid, but for the believer, it is not a moment of fear; it is a moment of final vindication. According to Matthew 13:49 There is a moment coming when there will be a final separation; it is not done by human hands or human opinions, but by the divine messengers of God.

The strength of the small is found in trusting God as the Final Judge. Sometimes in this life, it feels like the "wicked" are winning or that those who mistreat others are getting away with it. But this scripture reminds us that God sees everything. He is the one who sends His angels to ensure that the "just;" those made righteous by faith; are gathered safely into His presence.

We have to remember that God isn’t judging the outward, but indeed He is focused on the inward, which is our hearts. That is why we have to guard our hearts. We cannot get distracted by foolish things, foolish people, the foolish cares of this world, or anything that would come to distract us, and cause our hearts to become hard, bitter, cold, or wicked.

While we wait for that day, we must use divine wisdom in our own lives. If the angels are going to "sever" the wicked from the just eventually, we should be practicing that same discernment now. To love someone doesn’t mean you have to allow them to mistreat you physically, emotionally, or financially. You have the right to "sever" toxic connections that threaten your peace or your walk with God. You aren't judging their eternal soul, only God does that, but you are judging the fruit of their actions and protecting the garden of your own heart. Stay focused on the shore; the Father has sent His messengers to ensure you arrive safely.

Life Skill Tip

Practice “Divine Discernment.” If you are in a situation where you feel "entangled" with people or habits that are pulling you away from God's best, ask the Holy Spirit for the strength to separate yourself. You don't have to wait for the end of the age to live a "set apart" life. True self-control and wisdom mean knowing when to walk away from what is "wicked" for your spirit so you can remain among the "just."

Declarations

I am counted among the just because of my faith in Jesus Christ.
I trust God to be my defender and the final judge of my life.
I have the discernment to separate myself from toxic influences.
I walk in the peace of knowing my eternal destination is secure.

What is a Declaration

A declaration is a formal and confident statement of spiritual truth intended to align your spoken words with God’s promises, shifting your mindset and environment.

Prayer

Father, I thank You that You are a God of justice. I thank You that I am secure in Your hands and that You have a plan for my final gathering. Give me the wisdom to live a life that is truly "set apart" for Your glory. Help me to have the strength to sever any ties that are not from You, and to trust You to handle the things I cannot control. I rest in Your sovereignty today. In Jesus name. Amen.
