Reflection
Hey Gems & Jewels;
In the parable of the net, we see a moment of finality; the sorting of the catch. The fishermen draw the net to the shore and separate the "good" from the "bad." But we have to ask ourselves: in a Kingdom where "all have sinned," how does anyone qualify as "good"? The answer isn't found in how well we swim or how many good deeds we do; it is found in the nature of our heart toward the King. The Kingdom of Heaven is not a reward for the perfect; it is a refuge for the redeemed. While the net gathers all, it is our confession of faith that determines our destination.
The strength of the small is found in the simplicity of Romans 10:9. The "good fish" mentioned in Matthew 13:48 are those who have been made righteous through a specific transaction of faith. When we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, our very nature is transformed. We are no longer defined by the "bad" of our past; we are washed clean and set apart for the Lord’s use.
Being "gathered into the vessel" is about belonging. Because of your faith in Jesus, you aren't just in the net; you are secure in the boat. This assurance allows you to live without the fear of being "cast away." However, knowing you belong to Him should also give you the wisdom to set boundaries. You are a "True Gem" who has been pulled from the deep for a purpose.
Don't allow the "bad fish;" those who reject the truth or seek to mistreat you; to drain your resources or distract you from the shore you are heading toward. Your salvation is secure, and your peace is worth protecting.

Life Skill Tip
Practice “The Assurance Check.” When you feel guilt trying to tell you that you "aren't good enough" for the Kingdom, go back to Romans 10:9. Your standing with the Father is based on your confession and belief, not your ability to be perfect.
Declarations
I am saved by grace through my faith in Jesus Christ.
I confess that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that He is risen.
I am the righteousness of God and I am secure in His hands.
I walk in the clarity of my salvation and the wisdom of His Word.
What is a Declaration
A declaration is a formal and confident statement of spiritual truth intended to align your spoken words with God’s promises, shifting your mindset and environment.

Prayer
Father, I thank You that I don't have to earn my way into Your Kingdom. Thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus. I confess today that He is my Lord, and I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead. Thank You for saving me through His sacrifice. Help me to live a life that honors You, while giving me the discernment to protect the new life You have placed within me. In Jesus name. Amen.
