Hey Gems & Jewels;
As we move to the sixth layer of The City of Gems, we stand upon the Sardius. The sardius (often called carnelian) is a stone of intense, fiery red. In the biblical text, this gem holds a position of immense honor. It was the very first stone set into the High Priest’s breastplate of judgment in Exodus, and it is the stone John uses in Revelation chapter four to describe the brilliant, blazing appearance of the Lord sitting upon His heavenly throne.
As we continue to look at how God layered these stones to create a strong, deep foundation for the city’s wall, it makes me think about how strategic God is about positioning. To occupy a higher level or a new life position, you must have a heart that is completely consumed by God's purpose. True leadership isn't cold or clinical; it requires a holy passion. Right living in this scriptural reality means doing everything with an unyielding devotion to the King. When your brand, your leadership, and your everyday execution are resting on the Lord, and the foundation of His word, you operate with a supernatural fire. Even when the enemy tries do make you feel tired of doing good; you can continue on, because your energy isn't coming from your human strength; it is coming from the eternal strength of God.
Taking territory requires a deep awareness of your covenant covering. The deep red of the Sardius is a constant biblical reminder of the blood that was shed to purchase your victory. You are not fighting for ground in your own name; you are expanding the King's borders as an authorized Ambassador. When you speak a Rhema Word over a contract, a career opportunity, or your household, that word carries the full backing of heaven's court. The foundation that you establish in God ensures that as you climb higher, you remain completely secure under the shadow of the Almighty, shielded from the arrows of the enemy by the blood of the everlasting covenant.
Stewardship of each new level means keeping your spiritual fire burning. You cannot afford to let your devotion grow lukewarm when God is preparing you for a major promotion. Stay passionate about your assignment, maintain your integrity in the secret places, and let the fire of the Holy Spirit purify your ambitions. You are a royal treasure, strategically fitted into a city that will stand for all eternity. Stand boldly in your designated position, let your life blaze with the love of Christ, and watch how securely the Lord establishes your steps as you walk in the fullness of your destiny.
