Prayer Strategy: DAY 2; Authority in Christ and the Strategy of Speaking the Word

Prayer Strategy: DAY 2; Authority in Christ and the Strategy of Speaking the Word

Theme: Spiritual authority, resisting the enemy, standing firm

Focus: Using Scripture as a weapon, taking authority over mental battles, removing the enemy from your home and mind

Key Scripture: Luke 10:19

KJV

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

NIV

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you.

ERV

Listen, I have given you power over the enemy. You can walk on snakes and scorpions. Nothing will hurt you.

Reflection

Hey Gems and Jewels;

Many believers pray but do not use the authority God gave them.Prayer is communication.Authority is enforcement.

The enemy only occupies places where believers stay silent. When you speak the Word, you are not just reciting scripture. You are issuing legal commands that are backed by heaven; by God. You are enforcing your covenant rights. You are reminding darkness that you belong to the God and His Kingdom.

You cannot and do not fight the enemy with emotion, fear, or frustration.

You fight with truth.

You fight with scripture.

You fight with authority.

This is your turning point, and this is where you stop feeling attacked and start becoming spiritually armed.

Life Skill Tip

Build a daily “Word arsenal.”

Write down three verses to speak each morning.

One for your mind.

One for your home.

One for your purpose.

Speaking scripture rewires your thinking, strengthens your spirit, and shifts your atmosphere.

Declaration

I walk in God given authority.

Every lie, attack, and scheme of the enemy is powerless against me.

I stand firm in the truth of God’s Word and victory belongs to me.

Definition of a Declaration

A declaration is a spoken statement of spiritual truth that activates authority, builds faith, and aligns your life with the Word of God.

Prayer

Lord, teach me how to use the authority You have given me. Strengthen my spirit. Train my tongue. Fill my mind with Your Word. Help me stand firm against every plan of the enemy and fill my home with Your presence, peace, and protection. In Jesus name, amen.
