Day 7: Faith in the Fire; The God Who Delivers

Day 7: Faith in the Fire; The God Who Delivers

Scripture:

• KJV: “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.” (Daniel 3:17)

• NIV: “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand.” (Daniel 3:17)

• NLT: “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty.” (Daniel 3:17)

Reflection:

This is the foundation of faith: confidence in God’s ability to deliver. The three Hebrews declared, “Our God is able.” Even before they knew the outcome, their faith was anchored in God’s power. Whatever you are facing today, never forget God is still able. Able to heal, able to provide, able to restore, able to save. And whether in the fire or out of it, His deliverance is always certain. Sometimes He rescues us from the fire, sometimes He rescues us through it, but deliverance always comes.

Declaration:

My God is able to deliver me from every trial, and I trust His power completely.

Prayer:

Almighty God, thank You for being my Deliverer. I put my trust in Your power to rescue, redeem, and restore me in every situation. Amen.
