Reflection
Hey Gems and Jewels;
Storms will come, but what you say in the storm determines whether you sink or stand.
When fear rises, your words must rise higher.
When doubt whispers, your declarations must thunder.
Jesus didn’t pray about the storm; He spoke to it. He understood that peace is not the absence of storms; it’s the presence of authority.
Many people lose peace not because the storm is strong, but because their words empower it. Every “I can’t handle this” strengthens the waves. Every “God’s got me” calms them.
When you learn to speak life in chaos, you become unshakable. You carry Heaven’s calm into earth’s crisis.

💡 Life Skill Tip: Emotional Regulation Through Words
When your emotions rise, pause and speak intentionally.
Say what you want to feel, not what you currently feel.
Example:
❌ “I’m falling apart.” → ✅ “I’m held together by God’s grace.”
❌ “I’m scared.” → ✅ “God has not given me a spirit of fear.”
You can’t always control the weather, but you can control your words; and your words can command the weather to change.
Declaratiom
I speak peace over my life. I command storms of confusion, fear, and anxiety to be still. My words carry authority, and my atmosphere responds to my faith.
📝 Definition of a Declaration
A Declaration is a faith statement you speak aloud to exercise authority and release divine peace.

Prayer
Father, thank You for giving me power through my words. When the storms come, remind me that I carry Your peace within me. Teach me to speak faith instead of fear, and calm instead of chaos. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

When under pressure I say “I am stressed” instead I can say “.. when my faith is tested, my endurance has a chance to grow.”
James 1:3 NLT
Instead of I feel depressed I can remind myself that God carries me through all storms.
It’s so easy to acknowledge the bad because it feels like in those moment that’s what we feel the most instead we should acknowledge the good. Acknowledge when somethings are going bad everything isn’t. God is always with us, acknowledge God, acknowledge the gift of life.
